How to find the reference of your motor?

To find the reference of your motor, you can follow these steps:

  1. Locate the motor in your central vacuum system. It is usually housed in the main unit or power unit of the system.
  2. Look for a label or plate on the motor itself. The reference or model number should be printed on this label.
  3. Take note of the reference number or model number. It may be a combination of letters, numbers, or both.
  4. If you can’t find the reference on the motor, check the documentation or user manual of your central vacuum system. The motor reference may be listed there.
  5. If you’re still unable to find the reference, you can contact the manufacturer or supplier of your central vacuum system. Provide them with any relevant information or details about your system, and they should be able to assist you in identifying the correct motor reference.

Remember, it’s important to have the correct reference when purchasing a replacement motor to ensure compatibility and proper functioning of your central vacuum system.

Check the carbon brushes of your motor.

The carbon brushes of your motor should be checked every 5 years. If they are less than 1 cm in length, they must be replaced. If they are slightly longer than 1 cm, it will be necessary to check them once a year.

How to replace your filtration system?

If your central vacuum system has a dust collection bag, you simply need to replace it once it is full. For the maintenance of your filter, if it is made of polyester, you can wash it with water. However, for cellulose filters, they need to be replaced.
