What is the Retraflex vacuum system?
You already know the many advantages of central vacuuming. But with a retractable vacuum hose, just imagine… It is stored directly in the wall, more precisely in the PVC piping network, thanks to the suction power of the central unit. You no longer have to wonder where to store the hose, and you no longer have to move it from one inlet to another because there is a hose hidden behind each inlet. This way, it won’t take up any space !
To vacuum, simply open the suction inlet, pull out the hose to the desired length, pull the flap that serves both to secure the hose and activate the central unit. Finally, attach the necessary accessory (telescopic wand, brush) and start vacuuming! Once you’re done, push back the flap, place your hand in front of the hose end, and it will retract back into the PVC pipe. Unnoticed, the hose remains conveniently nearby without cluttering your living space!
How to install the Retraflex system at home?
The installation of retractable systems requires the prior configuration of a specific network. This network includes specially designed angled pipes. These pipes allow the hose to retract smoothly into the PVC network without getting stuck.
If you already have a conventional central vacuum system and wish to upgrade to the Retraflex system, you will need to change your entire suction network circuit, including the inlet.
